The structure of aluminum honeycomb panels aerospace is usually made by bonding a thin panel with a thick aluminum honeycomb core. The aluminum honeycomb panel has light weight, strong bending rigidity, high strength, strong stability, sound absorption, sound insulation, good thermal insulation and other characteristics. It has long been used in the aviation industry. The aviation industry in developed countries mostly uses aluminum honeycomb panels as spare parts, which have been successfully used in a large number of aircraft primary and secondary load-bearing structures, such as wing, fuselage, tail, radome and floor, interior decoration and other parts.

Application of Aluminum Honeycomb Panels Aerospace
At present, there are mainly two types of aluminum honeycomb panels aerospace.
1. The first type is the honeycomb sandwich panel structure, which is mainly used for fuselage and wing structures of. The upper and lower panels are thin, generally not exceeding 1 mm. The thickness of the entire honeycomb sandwich panel is generally not exceeding 30 mm. There are beams and walls inside the structure as support. The connection with the aircraft body is mainly through metal embedded parts or beam or wall joints.
2. The second type is a full-height variable-section structure, which is mainly used for rudders and ailerons. Its characteristics are that the beam ribs and other parts are connected by rivets after curing. The beam ribs and the honeycomb core material are generally filled with styrofoam. The connection between the whole part and the body mainly depends on the joint on the composite material or metal beam.
